10D CLASSIC FUJIAN/ CHAOZHOU/ SWATOU

Gather at Changi International Airport for your flight to Fuzhou. Upon arrival, we will explore the Sanfang QiXiang Old Street. Afterward, you'll have dinner and check in at the hotel.

Following breakfast, we will travel to Youxi and visit the Guxi Xinghe Scenic Area, which includes a visit to the Rainbow Fairy Hand Bridge, a remarkable structure with a total length of 99 meters and a "White Jade Fairy Hand" soaring 19 meters high, earning it a place in the Guinness World Records. Afterward, we will explore Shili Guxi, Straw Park, and Meng Chong Park. Our journey will then continue with a coach ride to Mt. Wuyi.

Following breakfast, we'll embark on a visit to Mount Wuyi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its 36 elegant peaks, most of which are under 600 meters in height. You'll have the opportunity to enjoy a Bamboo Raft ride down the picturesque Nine-Twist River. Our exploration will also include a visit to Wuyi Gong and Song Street. (In the event that Bamboo Rafting on the Nine-Twist River is unavailable, it will be replaced by a Yun River Raft Ride.)

After enjoying breakfast, we will set out to visit Chuxi Tulou, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Cultural Site. Within this cluster, you'll encounter Jiqinglou, one of the oldest structures, and Shanqinglou, the youngest. Shengqinglou stands as the king of rectangular tulous. Our tour will also include ZhongChuan Village, renowned as the hometown of the Hubao Brothers of Haw Par Villa. You'll explore the Memorial Hall, Zhongchuan Alley, and Hushi Temple. Following this, we'll travel to Yongding, where you can check in to the Kedu Hot-spring Resort and indulge in unlimited Hot-Spring Spa experiences (please remember to bring your swimming attire and cap).

Following breakfast, we will visit the Hakka Historical Museum, which is closed on Mondays and showcases the rich history and culture of the Hakka people. Our journey will then take us to Dapu, where you can visit the Ancestral Home of the late Mr. Lee Kuan Yew. We will proceed to Meixian, known as one of the largest Hakka settlements, and explore the Hakka Walled Village, a significant communal structure. To conclude the day's explorations, we'll visit the Pagoda of Thousand Buddhas.

After enjoying breakfast, we will proceed to Chaozhou. Our visit will include the historical Guangji Tower, which has stood for many centuries. We'll also explore the grand Kaiyuan Temple, the largest temple in the Fujian Region. From a distance, you can admire the Xiangzi Bridge. To immerse in the local atmosphere, you'll take a Trishaw Ride around Chaozhou Ancient City, where you can witness the daily life of the locals in the narrow alleys and on the Archway Street. Our journey will continue to Swatou, where you can visit People’s Square and Shipao Tai.

Following breakfast, we will travel to Xiamen for lunch. Our visit will take us to Nanputuo Temple, a renowned Buddhist temple with a history dating back to the Tang dynasty. The temple is named after its location south of the Buddhist holy site, Mount Putuo, situated in Zhejiang Province. On our way to dinner, we will pass through Huandao Road.

Following breakfast, we will visit Zeng Cu An Village, which was once an old fishing village and has now evolved into a vibrant area featuring trendy coffee shops, bookstores, and jewelry boutiques.

Following breakfast, we'll embark on a tour of Gulangyu Island, renowned as the "Garden of the Sea." Here, you can admire the local architectural buildings, stroll along Longtou Road, and take in the breathtaking views from Sunlight Rock, the highest point on the island. After lunch, we'll journey to Quanzhou to visit the Kaiyuan Pagoda.
