• Assemble at Changi International Airport to check in for your flight to Taipei, Taiwan’s capital city. Upon arrival at Taoyuan International Airport, meet your local guide and transfer to check in to your accommodation.

• Visit Shifen Old Street and try your hand at releasing a sky lantern out on the train tracks. Then, visit Jiufen Old Street, a narrow alleyway lined up with food stalls, tea houses, souvenir shops, and pottery stores nestled in a quaint mountain town. Set off for Hualien, a premier nature destination renowned for its marble gorges, Pacific seacoast and native culture. Explore Dongdamen Night Market, Hualien's largest night market, to sample some of Taiwan's most delicious local street food.

• Head to Taitung to visit Bunun Tribe Leisure Farm, Taiwan’s first and only indigenous-themed farm. Watch the 'Pasibutbut', an eight-part choral ceremony performed in the Bunun language to pray for a good millet harvest. The opportunity awaits to try your hand at archery before observing traditional leather-carving techniques and creating your own souvenir to take home, then enjoy an ingenious flavour lunch. Tonight, check in to a hot spring resort and unwind.

• Explore a local specialty store before we go to the Buddha Museum, a museum for everyone with facilities to help you grow spiritually and gain wisdom, as well as being a place for culture and education. (Note: Buddha Museum closed on Tuesday, replace with Fo Guang Shan.) Afterwards, enjoy some retail therapy at the E-Da Outlet Mall, which spans four storeys and houses over 700 local and international brands.

• Take a scenic boat ride around the beautiful Sun Moon Lake, a stunning alpine lake located in the heart of Taiwan. Next, stop by a local Aboriginal product store to sample some regional delicacies before proceeding to the renowned Puli Brewery Factory, famous for producing high-quality Shaoxing wine. Next, stop by a local tea shop to sample some freshly brewed tea before we checking in to the Tai Yi Ecological Leisure Farm. The farm's array of flowers and plants is a visual treat, and the floral cuisine, prepared with fresh ingredients sourced directly from the farm, is a particular highlight.

• Often referred to as the 'Swiss Alps' or the 'Switzerland of Taiwan', Cingjing Farm is a stunning mountainous region in central Taiwan. At Green Green Grasslands, visitors can interact with the adorable farm animals. Next, head to Taichung, Taiwan’s second-largest city, and visit the 921 Earthquake Museum of Taiwan, which commemorates the 7.3-magnitude earthquake that hit central Taiwan on 21 September 1999. Then, shop and eat to your heart's content at Fengjia Night Market, one of Taichung's most famous and bustling night markets.

• Explore a local products store before trying your hand at making your own at a DIY Taiwan Souvenirs Workshop. Return to Taipei and visit the Taipei 101 Mall, which brings together the world's top brands to offer a premium shopping experience in one of Taiwan's tallest and most iconic buildings! (Note: Ticket to the observation deck is at your own expense.) End the day with a visit to Ximending, Taipei's famous shopping district and mecca for youth culture, with its amazing street art, quirky restaurants and cafés.
