  • Ha Long Bay was chosen as the background of the Kong movie in 2017 by director Jordan Vogt–Roberts. On very first seconds of the trailer, Ha Long’s beauty appeared magnificently on the screen with stunning panorama of deserted limestone mountains on emerald seawater. This scene is considered as one of the most monumental ones in this movie. This morning, take the Ha long Bay Cruise on the emerald-green waters cruising among 3,000 spectacular limestone islands and visit Thien Cung & Dau Go grottoes. Enjoy fresh seafood lunch on board before returning to Hanoi (rest stop in between) and you may explore Hanoi at leisure.

  • Visit Bat Trang Village, the ancient handicraft village in Hanoi countryside (approx. 20mins drive). Spend time visiting the village’s pottery and porcelain market to admire the art of handicraft and listen to your guide’s explanation about it. Next, visit Bat Trang Pottery Museum which is well known for its extraordinary architectural simulated pottery wheel. You will have a special chance to try your hand at making the pottery before we transfer to Sapa (~6hrs by coach). Dinner at a local restaurant.
Note: Weather is usually cold in Sapa, advisable to bring warm clothing.

  • Transfer to MGallery Hotel and take Muong Hoa Train to the cable car station for the ride up hill to visit Fansipan Mountain, the highest in Indochina and nicknamed “Rooftop of Indochina”. The cable car system of Fansipan Legend is one of the highest, longest and most modern system of its type in the world. It has been recognized by the Guinness World Records organization with two records: the longest non-stop three-rope cable car: 6292,5m and the greatest elevation difference by a non-stop three-roped cable car: 1410m. Once up there, you may take the tram ride (02 ways) to the Peak of Fansipan which is the highest point in South East Asia. Thereafter, embark on a lovely walking trek that will take you along the buffalo paths and trails, and through several hill tribe villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van, home to the Black H’mong and D’zay people. This is a spectacular walk with stunning scenery covered with multi-layered rice terraced fields inhabited by some of the friendliest people you can meet.
Note: The walking tour takes about 3 hours, some paths with slippery terrain. Need to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring layered clothing.

  • This morning, visit Silver Waterfall. Unlike other tourist attractions of Sapa, the Silver Waterfall is located 12kms from the center of Sapa, making it rather quiet and peaceful. Although it may take quite some time to get to the waterfall, at the end of the journey, you will find the distance is absolutely worthy. Then, visit Rong May Glass Bridge (Dragon in Cloud Glass Bridge). At the height of more than 2000m above sea level, the view from Sapa Glass Bridge is absolutely stunning. Besides, the Glass Bridge is about 60m far from the cliff bringing the 360o panorama fantastic view. You may consider an optional visit to Moana, the hottest Instagram-worthy photo spot with many ingenious designs, including 7 beautiful check-in points (at your own expense). After lunch then transfer back to Hanoi then have dinner at a local restaurant.
