6D5N HO CHI MINH – MUI NE - DA LAT

• Pick up at Tan Son Nhat airport and transfer to the city centre for a half-day city tour. Start with photo stop outside Saigon City Hall, an excellent example of French colonial architecture in Ho Chi Minh City built between 1902 and 1908, originally called Hotel de Ville de Saigon. The building has been the headquarters of the Peoples Committee in Ho Chi Minh city since 1975. Then, pass by Reunification Palace which was the workplace of the President of South Vietnam and was known as the Independence Palace. View Notre Dame Cathedral (currently under maintenance), the spiritual and cultural crucible of the French presence in the Orient and lastly, the General Post Office, the ancient French colonial architecture. Thereafter, transfer to check-in at hotel (check-in after 3pm) and you are free at leisure till dinner at a local restaurant.

Dinner

• Transfer to Mui Ne, a small fishing village in the Binh Thuan province in the north of Saigon (approx. 225km/2.5hours drive). Pass by Mui Ne fishing village where you will chance upon a splendid view of colorful fishing boats mooring over the water. Visit the wine castle, as elegant and chic as those in the European countries, which is inspired by the wine valley of Napa in California USA, featuring architecture of medieval Europe with large squares, fortified towers and ancient arches. Then, check in to a resort in Mui Ne and relax.
  

• Visit white sand dunes which is known by the locals as Bau Trang or White Lake. Take a Jeep Ride (6 pax/jeep) over the sand dunes or you may try ostriches riding (at own expense), or simply slide down the sand dunes with the surfboard. Then, visit red sand dunes with slopes that are less steep and great photos opportunities of red-coloured dunes contrasting the surrounding scenery. Visit Suoi Tien (fairy stream), often hailed as one-of-its-kind in Vietnam. The water that flows through has a tinted hue, giving it a vibrant reddish-orange color that remains throughout the year. Renowned for its distinctive characteristics, the surrounding landscape is also incredibly special. After lunch, get on coach at around 13:30 to continue journey to Da Lat, also known as "Little Paris" due to its French architecture villas and its replica of Eiffel Tower. The city is surrounded by hills, pine forest, lakes and waterfalls.
  

• Visit Flower Central Park that consists of at least 300 different kinds of flowers with hundreds of which are in blossom all year round. Visit Xuan Huong lake that lies charmingly at the very heart of Da Lat city. Enjoy the views and contemplate the landscape of 5km diameter shape like a crescent moon. Thereafter, visit Truc Lam Meditation Monastery, the biggest pagoda in Da Lat with panoramic views of the city. While you are here, do enjoy the airy space, fresh air, greeneries around the pagoda, and you may even get to view Tuyen Lam lake from afar. Proceed to visit Datanla waterfall, one of the biggest waterfalls in Dalat and you may try the roller coaster ride at your own expense. Transfer to Langbian Mountain which is about the love legend of 2 tribes in Vietnam over hundred years ago. Go onboard a Jeep car (6 pax/jeep) to reach the peak of Langbiang Mountain at 1950m to enjoy fantastic views of the Silver Stream, Golden Lake, the forest and listen to its legendary love story from your guide. En route to Da Lat, visit a Strawberry or Tomato Garden (depending on the season) to enjoy one of the most well-known local specialties of Da Lat where you get to join a local farmers to harvest the strawberries or tomatoes.
  

• Check-out and transfer to Ho Chi Minh by coach. Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh, proceed to explore Ben Thanh Market which is always loaded with varieties of goods, such as consumer goods, cakes and candies, food and foodstuff, and particularly high-quality fruit and vegetables.
