• Assemble at Changi International Airport to check in for your flight to Taipei, Taiwan’s capital city. Upon arrival at Taoyuan International Airport, meet your local guide and transfer to dinner then check in to your accommodation.

• Assemble at Changi International Airport to check in for your flight to Taipei, Taiwan’s capital city. Upon arrival at Taoyuan International Airport, meet your local guide and transfer to a local Taiwan Soy Milk Breakfast Shop for an authentic Taiwanese breakfast. Thereafter, proceed to Yangmingshan National Park where you can marvel at volcanic geography and view the popular Flower Clock, one of the most photographed landmarks in the park. Visit Xiaoyoukeng, a dormant volcano, but many still walk along its trail because it is an incredibly scenic spot, thanks to the unique terrain naturally formed by volcanic activities. Explore Jinshan Old Street, the 300m-long narrow street is known to be the only old street preserved from the Qing Dynasty, serving up local delicacies including pastries, duck & taro cake.

Dinner

• Visit Rainbow Village, a tiny settlement in Taichung which is famous for its vibrantly painted houses and streets. The quirky village is one of the most colourful spots in Taiwan and a really fun place to visit! (Note: The village is closed on Monday, it will be replaced with Taichung Cultural Heritage Park if visit falls on a Monday.) Thereafter, explore Lukang Old Streets, Mazu Temple, Osmanthus Flower Alley Art Village, Mo Lu Lane and Longshan Temple, one of Taiwan’s best-preserved and most exquisite imperial-era structures, on your Lukang Rickshaw Tour. Visit Fo Guang Shan, a famous tourist destination where you’ll find the Buddhist center of South Taiwan, established by Master Hsing Yun and his disciples. This evening, take photos of Kaohsiung Music Center, the landmark for pop music performances in Southern Taiwan which nurtures and supports the local pop music industry.

• Stop by a local product store before we continue our journey to visti Liudui Hakka Cultural Park that showcases the history of Hakka ancestors in the region and to preserve their unique cultural heritage. Visit Shengli New Village Victory Star VIP Zone, the largest and most complete preserved Japanese-era military officer dormitory complex in Taiwan. Then, proceed to Sanfong Central Street, a traditional shopping area selling grocery goods and the largest grocery goods wholesale center in Kaohsiung before you may explore the many foodies options at Liuhe Night Market.

• Make a stop at a local products store for some local delights before we proceed to visit Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village. It is an amusement park and the largest outdoor museum in Taiwan dedicated to displaying the traditional homes and architecture of Taiwanese indigenous tribes. Thereafter, stop by a local Taiwanese tea store before you shop and eat to your heart’s content at Fengjia Night Market, one of the most famous night markets in Taichung.
  

Breakfast / Lunch

• Visit Gaomei Wetlands, an area spanning 1500 hectares, rich in natural resources and one of the few collective breeding areas for geese in Taiwan. Proceed to Houlong Cape of Good Hope for the magnificent ocean views with gigantic wind turbines. Visit Cape of Good Hope Sweet Potato Garden Farm and experience activities such as clay kiln DIY, stacking clay kiln, BBQ and making glutinous rice balls. Return to Taipei and view Taipei’s most iconic landmark, Taipei 101, designed based on the Chinese lucky number 8. You may opt to visit the Observatory Deck (at your own expense) or simply explore the multilevel Tapei 101 Mall that gathers the world’s top brands to create a high-end shopping experience. Spend the evening at Raohe Night Market to enjoy the epitome of an authentic Taiwanese experience with a wide range of traditional street food stalls, quaint retail shops, and carnival & arcade-style activities.

• Visit Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, a national monument, landmark and tourist attraction erected in memory of Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek. Make a stop at a local products store for some local delights before we proceed to Dadaocheng, undoubtedly one of Taipei’s most compelling neighbourhoods and best places to explore on foot. Explore Dihua Street, one of Taipei’s oldest streets; Yongle Market, once a bustling commercial centre for tea and dry-goods now the largest fabric center in Taiwan; and the century old Xiahai Chenghuang Temple. Make a stop at a local products store for some local delights and souvenirs before we proceed to Ximending, the mecca for youth culture and a famous shopping district in Taipei with amazing street art, quirky restaurants and cafes.
