Assemble at Changi Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, you will be greeted by our tour guide and transfer to hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure till dinner served on a boat along the Saigon River with live show entertainment. (Meal on board/Dinner)
After breakfast, proceed to visit the Cu Chi tunnels which are 75km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City. It is a network of tunnels dug during the Vietnam War by the guerrillas, with 3 levels and stretching more than 200km. Experience the environment where guerrillas lived and fought underground by climbing the narrow passages. Here you will have the opportunity to witness how rice paper is made. After lunch, depart for Vung Tau, a well known coastal resort 125km southeast of Ho Chi Minh City and enjoy the freshest seafood in a local restaurant. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
After breakfast, visit The Jesus Mountain, which overlooks the Peninsula and Pacific Ocean. Visit 18 meters high Goddess of Mercy, Thuy Van beach and Whale Temple dedicated to whales considered as the rescuing gods for Vietnamese fisherman in the east sea. After lunch, return to HCMC and visit the Notre Dame Cathedral situated in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. Nearby the church is Central Post Office which is a French–style building with glass canopy and iron frame. The structure was built between 1886 and 1891 and is by far the largest post office in Vietnam. Next visit the City Hall completed in 1908, also known as “Hotel de Ville” at the northern end of Nguyen Hue Boulevard. Visit a lacquer ware factory expert in arts and crafts of picture, furniture with lacquer. After that visit Thien Hau Temple, which is the oldest temple built by the early Chinese and visit China Town situated in District 5. It is hive of activity and offers visitors a strong Chinese culture. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
After breakfast, a two hour drive to My Tho will expose the colorful outskirt life as well as picturesque rice fields along the journey. Upon arrival, get on a boat trip up Mekong River with islet stop at Thoi Son to taste seasonal fruits and enjoy traditional folk songs. Then, visit the authentic life of the local and challenge your bargaining power at cottage handicraft shops. An adventurous sampan ride in palm shading creeks will be the next experience of the riverside region. Lunch will be served with the Mekong Delta specialty – Deep Fried Elephant Ear fish. Return to Ho Chi Minh City for shopping. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
