Your vacation begins with a pleasant flight to Taipei, the capital city of Taiwan. Upon arrival, proceed to Ilan. Enroute we will go through Hsuehshan Tunnel, which is considered a marvel of civil engineering and human perseverance. This evening, visit the Lotong Night market where you can indulge in a wide variety of local snacks. Tonight, enjoy a stay at the Lan-Yang Hot Spring Resort or similar. (Meals on Board/Dinner)
This morning, we will make a stop at the White Rice Clogs Village, a communal ecological museum. Continue to Chin Sui Park, one of the highlight of Ilan. Next, proceed to Jiufen, we will visit the filming site of ‘Sad City’. Thereafter, stroll along the historic street of Tamshui and be mesmerized by the enchanting view at Fisherman’s Wharf and Lover’s Bridge. (Breakfast/Dinner: Ding Tai Fung Steamed Bun)
In the morning will visit Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall. Next, make a stop at Shihlin Presidential Residence - home of late President Chiang Kai Shek. Continue to visit the renowned landmark of Taipei city – Taipei 101, Which is currently the world’s second tallest skyscraper. Thereafter, be amazed by the grand changing of guards’ procession ceremony at Martyrs Shrine. Enroute, visit the Pi-siou Art Centre. End your day at Taipei Night Market where you can indulge in a wide variety of local snacks. (Breakfast/Lunch at Dingchu Taiwan Cuisine Restaurant)
During this free day you may choose to explore the epicenter of Taiwan’s youth culture – Ximenting. (Breakfast)
After breakfast, depart for a pleasant flight to Hong Kong, the Pearl of Orient. Upon arrival, you be met and transferred to hotel. (Breakfast) Note: Packed breakfast will be provided for passengers leaving by morning flight.
Enjoy a complimentary half day city tour to The Avenue of Stars, Mid-level of Victoria Peak and Repulse Bay.
