DAY 1
Embark on your vacation with a pleasant flight to Christchurch! (Meals on board)
DAY 2
Upon arrival, proceed to visit the International Antarctic Centre which offers fun, exciting and interactive experience of Antarctica. While you are there, take an exciting outdoor adventure ride on a genuine Antarctic all-terrain vehicle – the Hagglund. Next, commence on our Christchurch city tour with visits to Hagley Park, Botanic Garden, Avon River and Cashmere Hill. This evening, enjoy an authentic Ko Tane Maori Cultural Performance at Willowbank Wildlife Reserve and learn the awesome haka & poi dance. Here, you will also get to know New Zealand’s national icon, the Kiwi bird and learn about the conservation work being done. (Meals on board/Dinner)
DAY 3
After breakfast, we will head towards West Coast. You may want to experience at your own expenses the magic of the TranzAlpine train ride which pass through Arthur Pass – New Zealand’s highest alpine pass where you will also enjoy the lush Canterbury plains, spectacular river gorges and stunning snow-covered peaks of Southern Alps. Next, move on to Glass-Blowing Showroom & Greenstone Factory in Hokitika. Then, continue our journey to the icy glaciers region of Fox Glaciers. Be awed by the magnificent remnants ice age cascade from vast snowfields of the Southern Alps to valley floors just 300 metres above sea level. If time and weather permits, you may even want to take an optional helicopter ride to land on snow. (Breakfast/Dinner) Note: Glass-Blowing Showroom and Greenstone Factory will not be operating during Sunday and Public Holidays. In the event if accommodation is not available in Fox Glacier, you will be staying in another town.
DAY 4
Today, enjoy a scenic leisure drive which passes through Haast Pass and Lake Wanaka before arriving at Mrs. Jones Fruit Orchard in Cromwell. Next, proceed to visit Goldfields Mining Centre where you will have an opportunity to learn about the lifestyle of an early miner. End your day at Queenstown - an area dominated by spectacular setting of beautiful shores of Lake Wakatipu and majestic alpine scenery. (Breakfast/Dinner)
DAY 5
This morning, set off to Gibbston Valley Winery and experience the feeling of travelling underground 76 meters into the Central Otago hillside within New Zealand's largest and most innovative wine cave. Next, embark on an exciting cruise across beautiful Lake Wakatipu on board the vintage steamship TSS Earnslaw to Walter Peak High Country Farm. Discover the country side of New Zealand as you walk around the farm area and be entertained by the informative farm show. (Breakfast/Lunch) Note: During the annual survey period from late May to early July (subject to change) TSS Earnslaw is out of service. Transfer to/from Walter Peak High Country Farm will be replaced by a launch.
DAY 6
The day is free for leisure where you can have a chance to join a day trip to the UNESCO site “8th Nature Wonder of the World” – Milford Sound or explore the endless optional attractions available such as Dart River Jet Safaris, Ziptrek Ecotours Flying Fox, Nomad 4WD Safaris, and much more. (Breakfast)
DAY 7
En-route to Christchurch, stop at Lake Pukaki and be captivated by the beautiful scenery of New Zealand’s highest mountain, Mt Cook which soars above the crest of the Southern Alps. Then, travel across the Canterbury Plains to visit the Church of the Good Shepherd, which stands in harmony by the edge of Lake Tekapo - a lovely turquoise glacial lake reflecting the surrounding mountains. End your day in Christchurch and do take the opportunity to do some last minute shopping! (Breakfast/Dinner)
DAY 8
This morning, take a domestic flight to Rotorua, New Zealand’s own geothermal paradise. Upon arrival, head towards Te Puke the Kiwifruit Capital of the World where you will visit Kiwi360, a kiwi fruit orchard. Hop onto KiwiKarts and be guided through the horticultural theme park. Then head back to Rotorua and make a visit to Rainbow Springs Nature Park which features many New Zealand’s native animal and tree species, including kiwi and tuatara. If time permits, tonight you may want to soak yourself in relaxing hot mineral bath in Polynesian Spa at your own expenses. (Breakfast/Dinner)
DAY 9
Today, be amazed by boiling mud pools, erupting geysers and steaming hot springs of Whakarewarewa thermal area at Te Puia, home to the famous Pohutu geyser and New Zealand Maori Arts & Crafts Institute. After that, depart for Waitomo, where you will get a chance to explore the fascinating Waitomo Glowworm Caves. Board a boat and journey deep into the limestone caves to view the myriad glowworms overhead. Continue our journey to Auckland – the energetic City of Sails and embark on a city tour with stop at Mount Eden for a spectacular scenic view of Auckland cityscape. (Breakfast/Dinner)
DAY 10
