DAY 1

SINGAPORE - AUCKLAND

Embark on your vacation with a pleasant fl ight to Auckland – the energetic “City of Sails”. (Meals on board)


DAY 2

AUCKLAND

Upon arrival, we will visit to the 196-metre extinct volcanic cone of Mount Eden, Auckland’s highest point which also offers a dramatic 360-degree panorama of the region. Auckland sprawls over a narrow neck of land between the sparkling waters of the Waitemata and Manukau Harbours. A cloak of rainforest covers the surrounding hills, dozens of dormant volcanic cones dot the landscape and enchanting islands are scattered throughout the vast Hauraki Gulf. We will continue our journey with visit to Viaduct Harbour, New Zealand’s largest superyacht marina and view the iconic Auckland Harbour Bridge from there. (Meals on board/Dinner)


DAY 3

AUCKLAND – WAITOMO – ROTORUA

This morning, depart for Waitomo, where you will get a chance to explore the fascinating Waitomo Glowworm Caves. Board a boat and journey deep into the limestone caves to view the myriad glowworms overhead. Then, continue our journey to Rotorua and be amazed by boiling mud pools, erupting geysers and steaming hot springs of Whakarewarewa thermal area at Te Puia, home to the famous Pohutu geyser and New Zealand Maori Arts & Crafts Institute. This evening, enjoy an authentic Maori Hangi Dinner & Concert. If time permits, tonight you may want to soak yourself in relaxing hot mineral bath in Polynesian Spa at your own expenses. (Breakfast/Dinner)


DAY 4

ROTORUA – TAUPO

Begin the day by watching sunrise over Lake Rotorua while enjoying a hearty breakfast onboard of Lakeland Queen. Then proceed to Agrodome to watch educational and entertaining performance by 19 breeds of sheep and their guardian sheep dog. After that, make a visit to Rainbow Springs Nature Park which features many New Zealand’s native animal and tree species, including kiwi and tuatara. Next, we will take a Skyline Skyrides gondola ride up to Mount Ngongotaha for a breathtaking view of the city, lake and surrounding countryside. The more adventurous can plunge downhill in a highspeed luge cart. Depart for Taupo and proceed for Taupo sightseeing upon arrival. Make visit to Honey Hive, Huka Falls and Lake Taupo – New Zealand’s largest lake. (Breakfast/Dinner)


DAY 5

TAUPO – NAPIER – HASTINGS – NAPIER

Today, head south to Napier, a seafront city that host distinctive art deco buildings in the inner city with their bold lines, elaborate motifs and pretty pastel colours. Proceed to Classic Sheepskins Shop & Factory where you can learn about tanning and manufacturing process of sheepskin. After that, hop onto an interesting apple cart to tour around Pernel Fruitworld in Hastings before going for a vineyard and winery tour. This area is New Zealand’s oldest wine producing area and also the country’s second largest wine production region. (Breakfast/Dinner)


DAY 6

NAPIER – WELLINGTON

After breakfast, proceed to Wellington - New Zealand’s political centre and also the country’s cultural and creative capital. On the way, make a stop at Paua Shell Factory to see Paua, Pink Mussel & Mother of Pearl shells being carved by the craftsmen. Start our Wellington city tour upon arrival, and end our day at Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa. Te Papa guarantees mental stimulation and offer visitors a unique and authentic experience of the country’s treasures and stories. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)


DAY 7

WELLINGTON - CHRISTCHURCH

This morning, we will take a domestic flight to Christchurch. Upon arrival, proceed to visit the International Antarctic Centre which offers fun, exciting and interactive experience of Antarctica. While you are there, take an exciting outdoor adventure ride on a genuine Antarctic all-terrain vehicle – the Hagglund. Next, commence on our Christchurch city tour with visits to Hagley Park, Botanic Garden, Avon River and Cashmere Hill. (Breakfast/Dinner)


DAY 8

CHRISTCHURCH – HOKITIKA – FOX GLACIER

We will head towards West Coast after breakfast. You may want to experience at your own expenses the magic of the TranzAlpine train ride which pass through Arthur Pass – New Zealand’s highest alpine pass where you will also enjoy the lush Canterbury plains, spectacular river gorges and stunning snow-covered peaks of Southern Alps. Next, move on to Glass- Blowing Showroom & Greenstone Factory in Hokitika. Then, continue our journey to the icy glaciers region of Fox Glaciers. Be awed by the magnifi cent remnants ice age cascade from vast snowfi elds of the Southern Alps to valley fl oors just 300 metres above sea level. If time and weather permits, you may even want to take an optional helicopter ride to land on snow. (Breakfast/Dinner) Note: Glass-Blowing Showroom and Greenstone Factory will not be operating during Sunday and Public Holidays. In the event if accommodation is not available in Fox Glacier, you will be staying in another town.


DAY 9

FOX GLACIER – QUEENSTOWN

Today, enjoy a scenic leisure drive which passes through Haast Pass and Lake Wanaka before arriving at Mrs. Jones Fruit Orchard in Cromwell. Next, proceed to visit Goldfi elds Mining Centre where you will have an opportunity to learn about the lifestyle of an early miner. End your day at Queenstown - an area dominated by spectacular setting of beautiful shores of Lake Wakatipu and majestic alpine scenery. (Breakfast/Dinner)


DAY 10

QUEENSTOWN

The day is free for leisure where you can have a chance to join a day trip to the UNESCO site “8th Nature Wonder of the World” – Milford Sound or explore the endless optional attractions available such as Dart River Jet Safaris, Ziptrek Ecotours Flying Fox, Nomad 4WD Safaris, and much more. (Breakfast)


DAY 11

QUEENSTOWN – ASHBURTON

This morning, on the way to Ashburton for your farmstay, stop at Lake Pukaki and be captivated by the beautiful scenery of New Zealand’s highest mountain, Mt Cook which soars above the crest of the Southern Alps. Then, travel across the Canterbury Plains to visit the Church of the Good Shepherd, which stands in harmony by the edge of Lake Tekapo - a lovely turquoise glacial lake refl ecting the surrounding mountains. Upon arrival at Ashburton, be met by your farm host. Do enjoy a night of kiwi hospitality and experience the daily life of a New Zealander. (Breakfast/Dinner) Note: Please prepare an overnight bag for your Farmstay. In the event if Farmstay is not available, a home stay will be replaced.


DAY 12

ASHBURTON – CHRISTCHURCH

Participate in some farm’s activities in the morning before bidding farewell to your host family. After that, leave for Christchurch. We will stop to do some shopping on the way if time permits. Free at leisure the rest of the day after checking-in at hotel. Do venture around this stylish and contemporary city and you will be surprise to fi nd many restaurants and shops here that cater to your taste. (Breakfast)


DAY 13

CHRISTCHURCH - SINGAPORE

After breakfast, you will be free till departure transfer for your fl ight back home. We hope you had an enjoyable and memorable time with SA Tours!
