DAY 1
Assemble at Changi International Airport for your fl ight to Seoul, capital of the “Land of Modern Miracles and Ancient Traditions”. (Meals On Board)
DAY 2
Upon arrival at Incheon International Airport, you will be welcomed by our tour guide who will show you the wonders of Korea. We shall proceed to Kimpo Domestic Airport for our short fl ight to Jeju Island, widely known as the “Honeymoon Island” known for its romantic tropical settings. Our fi rst stop will be Seongup Folk Village, have a look at the traditional houses seen in the olden times. Next, proceed to Seongsan Sunrise Peak, a volcanic crater hill offering a splendid view by the coast. Thereafter, proceed to Mysterious Road where you can experience the phenomenon of going uphill with the vehicle’s engine turned off. Next, continue to Teddy Bear Museum, the fi lming site of famous Korean drama “Princess Hour”, and the one and only kind in the world where you can see the different types of teddy bears. (Lunch/Dinner)
DAY 3
Rise and shine to a new day as we make our way to the domestic airport to take a fl ight to Kimhau airport. Upon arrival, set off to Yongdusan Park, which harmonizes Busan Tower and 700 different species of trees, it is the favourite rest place for the citizens of Busan. Next, proceed to Nampo-Dong, well known for hosting Pusan International Film Festival (PIFF). Every year, the winners of the festival contribute copper plates imprinted with their hand and foot prints at the PIFF Square. Continue on to Gwangan Bridge, the longest bridge over the ocean in all of Korea. You will be fascinated by the beach view of the bridge itself. During Busan International Fireworks Festival* you will be able to see the multimedia fi reworks show with tens of thousands of fi reworks, colourful lasers and a stirring musical accompaniant that will surely create an unforgettable impression and memories that will last a lifetime. *(Note: Busan International Fireworks Festival is only valid for departure group the reach Busan during 22 to 29 October). DAY 4
After breakfast, proceed to Haeundae Beach for a photo stop, one of the famous beaches in Korea. During the months of July and August, Haeunde Beach would be packed with local and foreign visitors. Next, make our way to Cheongdo Persimmon Wine Tunnel, a wine cellar transformed from an abandoned train tunnel built during the Daehan Empire. The wine tunnel was once used during the Japanese occupation and it holds very sad memories for all Koreans. But now it has become the best place to produce persimmon wine. Proceed to DongSeongRo Shopping Street, one of the busiest shopping streets in Daegu where you will be able to fi nd a lot of fashion apparel for everyone. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
DAY 5
(Autumn)-- After breakfast, proceed to Herbhillz Park. Within the park there are more than 3000 kinds of herbs and you will have the chance to explore the park and purchase the Herbhillz products. Take a leisurely drive to Yongpyong Dragon Valley for the night, the fi lming site of the famous Korean Drama – “Winter Sonata”. Relax your tired muscles and rest your mind at Yongpyong Water Park. (Please bring own swim suit and cap) (Breakfast/Lunch)----------------------------------For departures EX-SIN from 16th November 2011 to 16th March 2012, itinerary will run as follows for DAY 5: DAY 5 DAEGU - YONGPYONG DRAGON VALLEY After breakfast, take a leisurely drive to Yongpyong Dragon Valley Ski Resort which is gifted with the natural conditions for skiing, with an average of 250cm snowfall each year. With 31 ski slopes as wide as 180 metres, it also has the longest gondola in Asia. Upon arriving at the resort, leisure time will be given. You may want to explore the resort on your own or take the opportunity to try out skiing, (ski suit and ski equipment at your own cost) or join the optional tours arranged by our guide at your own expense. DAY 6
This morning, we will make our way back to Seoul. Our fi rst stop will be Korean Traditional Centre where you can learn hands-on how to make Kimchi. Do not miss the opportunity to take photos of yourself dressed in the Korean Traditional Costume - Hanbok. Next, proceed to Nature Republic where you will be given a skin care course and will be able to purchase some of the Nature Republic cosmetic products. Next, we depart for Sinchon Fashion Alley, nicknamed as “Korea’s Ladies Street” one of the famous shopping haunts for young females.The last highlight for today will be Dongdaemun Market for shopping! It’s Asia’s largest shopping district and has recently become the largest apparel shopping area for Koreans. (Breakfast/Lunch)
DAY 7
After breakfast, we’ll make our way to Ginseng Monopoly showroom for you to purchase what is hailed as the world’s best ancient tonic elixir and stamina builder - Korean Ginseng. Next will be the Amethyst factory where you can fi nd locally produced purple gemstones at a bargain. Next stop will be Korean’s well known Bo Kan Showroom, which is believed to be good for your health and also improves your immune system. Next visit the Sea Weed Showroom, where you will be able to understand the process of sea weed making and will also have the chance to taste the sea weed. Next, visit Star Avenue a comprehensive entertainment spot for experiencing the Korean Wave and Korean celebrities. The last highlight for today will be Myongdong Fashion Street one of the most fashionable shopping streets in Seoul where you can shop to your heart’s content. The last highlight for today will be LotteWorld Adventure Park (All Rides Passport). Spend your time enjoying the live entertainment, thrilling rides in both indoor and outdoor theme parks or simply explore quaint shops found through the vast grounds. (Breakfast/Lunch)
DAY 8
This morning, there is time for some last minute shopping before we bid farewell to the city of Seoul and transfer to the airport for your fl ight home. We hope you have had an enjoyable and memorable vacation with SA Tours. (Breakfast/Meals On Board)
