Assemble at international airport for your fl ight to Seoul, capital of the “Land of Modern Miracle & Ancient Traditions.” (Meals on board)
Upon arrival at Incheon International airport,you will be welcome by our tour guide who will show you the wonders of Korea. We make our way to Suwon Hwaseong Fortress – UNESCO’s list of World Cultural Heritage in 1997 and the fi lming site for the famous drama “DaeJanggeum” It is designated Historical site No.3 by the Korean government. It’s a well preserved architecture of the Chosun Dynasty built of stone and oven-baked bricks over two years from 1794 during the reign of King Chosun. Hop onboard the newly launched Hwaseong Dragon Train ride where you can get to view the whole fortress at ease and comfort. Why not try test your eye sight and arm strength by giving a try at the traditional Archery. (subject to weather conditions) Next take a leisure drive to Yongpyong Dragon Valley for the night, the fi lming site of the famous Korean Drama - “Winter Sonata” and also relax your tired muscles and rest your mind at Yongpyong Peak Island Water Park. (Lunch/Dinner)
After breakfast set off to the breathtaking Mount Sorak National Park whose beauty is accented by its granite peaks, lush green valleys and dense forests awaits you. Ascend to the summit by cable car (subject to weather conditions) for a panoramic view of Mt Sorak. Walk up the impressive Kwon Kum Seong Fortress, which commands an excellent view of the Outer Sorak region. Next stop is the fascinating Shinhungsa Temple where you can fi nd an 18 meters bronze fi gure of the Unifi cation for Peace Buddha. Next process to Daepo Harbour, you will have the chance to visit the Daepo Seafood market, over there you will see all different type of local Korean seafood. (Bring own swim suit and cap) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
After breakfast, we make our way to Yongin Everland (All Rides Passport), a magical world of nature beauty and fairy tales awaits you. During the fl ower season, visitors are treated to a kaleidoscope of fl owers festivals like tulips, roses, lilies or chrysanthemum. There is a Safari drive where you have the chance to get close to endangered animals like giraffes, zebras, lions, tigers, bears and “liger” (the offspring of a lion and tiger, only found in Korea Everland) Along the way, you will have the chance to hand pick Korean local Fruits (Seasonal) that grow in the orchard farm. Continues our way to Korean Traditional Centre where you can hands on to make Kimchi and do not miss the opportunity to take photos of yourself dressed in the Korean Traditional Costume, - Hanbok. Let’s go to Dongdaemun Market for more shopping! (Breakfast)
After breakfast, you will visit the War Memorial. Inside the Exhibit honors the spirit of those who perished fi ghting on the battlefront. And you can learn all about Korea’s war history as well as witness how the Korean military developed over the years. Next proceed to the Face Shop where you will be given a skin care course and purchase some of the Face Shop products. More shopping awaits us as we make our way to the Ginseng Monopoly showroom for you to purchase what is hailed as the world’s best ancient tonic elixir and stamina builder – Korean Ginseng. Next will be the Amethyst factory where you can fi nd local produced purple gemstones at a bargain. Our next stop will be the Korean Cordyceps Monopoly showroom, which is believed to be good for health and improve immune systems. Thereafter, shop at Myongdong and Namedaemun, one of the most fashionable shopping street in Seoul where you can shop to your heart’s content. (Breakfast/Lunch)
This morning, we will bring you to Namsan Park located in the centre of Seoul. You will enjoy the 7.4km stretch of Namsan Cherry Blossoms (Seasonal). The park also houses a botanical garden, zoo, public library as well as Seoul Tower (own expenses), which has an Observation Deck affording a bird’s eye view of the city. And it is also the fi lming site for “Boys Over Flowers”. Next we bid farewell to the city of Seoul and transfer for your fl ight home.
