DAY 1

SINGAPORE - NAGOYA

Begin your journey with a pleasant flight to Nagoya. (Meals on board)


DAY 2

NAGOYA - GUJO HACHIMAN - TAKAYAMA

Upon arrival you will have a brief city tour of Nagoya. Thereafter proceed to visit Gujo Castle Town. Visitors to Gujo will have a chance to visit the Food Replica Shop, approximately 80% of restaurants food samples in Japan are made here. Be sure to try your hand at making something. In the shop there are also many different samples where you can buy to take home with you, a unique gift for friends and family back home. The old town streets in Gujo have been beautifully maintained to preserve their historically accurate appearance, adding a special touch to the atmosphere of the site. Next, continue the tour with a leisure drive to Takayama, you will have a chance to take a picture with the beautiful Nakabashi Bridge, follow by a stroll through the Kami Sannomachi Street - also known as little Kyoto. Takayama Castle Town is an intimate town with old streets lined by quaint, traditional houses where you can enjoy Edo-like atmosphere with sake breweries and merchant houses standing in a row, selling exclusive souvenirs. DAY 3

TAKAYAMA - KANAZAWA

This morning, you will visit the local Takayama Morning Market and Yatai Kaikan Hall where colorfully decorated traditional festival floats are displayed. Followed by a scenic drive to mountainous Shirakawa-go registered as a World Heritage Site since 1995. Visit Gassho Village, which is famous for its chain of steeply thatchroofed houses, called ’Gassho-Zukuri’ traditional farmhouses. Continue your journey to Kanazawa to visit the well known Kenrokuen Garden, one of the best three most beautiful gardens in Japan and thereafter visit the Samurai House. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)


DAY 4

KANAZAWA - TATEYAMA ALPINE ROUTE - NAGANO (Code :JJST) OR KANAZAWA - NAGANO (Code:JOST)

Today an exciting day waits you. The Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route has a distance of 86 km and goes from Tateyama station on the Toyama Chiho Tetsudo line to Nagano Ogisawa, by a combination of 6 modes of transportation, including a cable car and ropeway. Enjoy the lovely Tateyama Mountain Range with panoramic view of peaks. Spend your night at hot spring Resort in Nagano. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 7D Delightful Takayama (Tour Code: JOST) (Departure EX SIN from 16 Nov 2011 - 31 Mar 2012 itinerary) DAY 4 KANAZAWA - NAGANO After breakfast proceed to Nagano Prefecture, a region consisting 91 mountains over 2,500m. You will visit the Zenkoji Temple, founded 1400 years ago and is one of the most visited temple in Japan. Here you could see a Buddha statue which many believe to be the fi rst Buddha statue brought to the country. Continue your journey to Matsumoto, the second largest city in Nagano Prefecture. It is most famous for its Matsumoto Castle, one of Japan most beautiful original castles. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)


DAY 5

NAGANO - KARUIZAWA -GUMMA

Rise and shine proceed to Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza, where you enjoy new style of shopping, tasty meals and entertainments in fresh air atmosphere. Thereafter make your way to Gumma Prefecture, visit Kusatsu Yubateke – an impressive field of hot springs. If time permits, you may like to visit Kusatsu Netsunoyu enjoy a show featuring tradition Yumomi process. Witness the onsen workers cool the very hot bath water by stirring it with wooden planks (own expenses). In the evening, enjoy a relaxing hot spring bath at this region. (Breakfast/Dinner)


DAY 6

GUMMA -SAITAMA- TOKYO

This morning, make your way to Saitama and will visit Kawagoe City - The Little Edo, it has a lot of cultural properties and historic sites which represent the culture of the Edo era. Thereafter, proceed to Tokyo you visit Shinjuku, the town that never sleeps where restaurants, department stores, amusement centers abound. (Breakfast/Lunch)


DAY 7

TOKYO - SINGAPORE
