DAY 1

SINGAPORE - TOKYO(NARITA)

Begin your vacation with a pleasant flight to the Northern island of Japan, Hokkaido. (Meals on board)


DAY 2

NARITA/HANEDA - CHITOSE - LAKE TOYA /NOBORIBETSU

Upon arrival in Tokyo, you will be making a transfer to the domestic airport for your continuous flight to Hokkaido. Arrival in Hokkaido visit the Shiraoi Ainu Village for a glimpse of the aborigine’s lifestyle, catch an insight of the lives of the aborigines of Hokkaido through their houses, embroideries and weavings at Noboribetsu. If time permits, drive to Noboribetsu shopping street for a short shopping experience. In the evening, you can enjoy and relax at the sulphur- mineral water hot spring bath in Lake Toya or Noboribetsu. (Lunch/Dinner)


DAY 3

LAKE TOYA/NOBORIBETSU - ASAHIKAWA/SOUNKYO

Rise and shine, start your day with a drive to Asahikawa, the second largest city in Hokkaido. First you will visit the famous Jigokudani also known as Hell Valley. Stroll through the sulphurous valley and you will get to see boiling ponds and steaming streams. Next, view Mt Showa, an interesting landform that was raised from a farmland after two years of volcanic activities. Thereafter, proceed to Bear Ranch, where you can catch some bear shows and performances or even feeding the bears. Continue to *Otokoyama Sake Brewing Museum. Otokoyama Sake is produced from pure underground water in the severe cold of the Mt. Taisetsu area. The museum contains many valuable items spanning 330 years of the history and culture of Sake brewing. Thereafter, proceed to *Asahikawa shopping for some great bargains. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) *(During mid Nov-Mar) Asahikawa shopping & Otokoyama Sake Brewing Museum will be replace by Lake Kussharo Swans viewing and Kushiro or Lake Akan Cranes viewing (mid Nov-mid Jan) *Ice-breaking cruise along the sea of Okhotsk (end Jan- end Feb) *Visit Okhotsk Ryu-hyo Museum (Mar)


DAY 4

ASAHIKAWA/ SOUNKYO - LAKE AKAN

In the morning, proceed to Sounkyo Gorge, situated at the foot of Mount Daisetsu-zan National Park. It is created by dramatic columnar cliffs, lined with the famous worth-seeing ‘Shooting Star Falls’ (Ryusei-no-taki Falls) and ‘Milky Way Falls’ (Ginga-no-taki Falls) for a breathtakingly gorgeous view of the majestic mountain. Continue the journey to Lake Akan, a lake of mystery and beauty is well known for “marimo” curious looking spherical moss which is a natural monument and unique to the lake. If time permits, head to the Kita Kitsbe Fox Village where you will get to see the famous Hokkaido fox well known for its fur. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing hot spring water bath. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)


DAY 5

LAKE AKAN - SAPPORO

After breakfast, take a leisurely drive back to Sapporo. See the making of the famous Hokkaido chocolate at The Chocolate Factory. Enroute, to Odori Park you will drive pass Tokeidai Clock Tower, it is a park bustling with people, activities and also the site of the annual Ice Festival. There is also the magnifi cent Sapporo TV Tower. Next, a quick photo stops at the 19th century Red Bricks Old Hokkaido Building and if time permits, you will get to enjoy some sophisticated shopping at JR Tower. Continue to Tanukikojo Shopping Arcade, the largest shopping mall in Hokkaido, for a great shopping spree. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)


DAY 6

SAPPORO - OTARU - CHITOSE

In the morning, make your way to Otaru, the most romantic town in Japan. In the 1920s, when the shipping industry was flourishing,this canal was built to transport cargo to and from warehouses and now is the most picturesque canal within the region. There are many shops that sell musical boxes, crystal ware and glassware, these quaint shops evoke the romantic atmosphere of this enchanting town and the Otaru Music Box Museum, where you can view beautifully crafted music boxes and enjoy their heavenly music. Our next visit is the Kitachi Glass shop, reputed for its unique lamps and hand-blown glassware. If time permits, drop by Chitose Outlet Mall for your shopping pleasure. Stay overnight in Chitose. (Breakfast/Dinner)


DAY 7

CHITOSE - SINGAPORE (VIA TOKYO)
