DAY 1

SINGAPORE - ZURICH

Our vacation starts with a pleasant flight to Switzerland’s largest city - Zurich. (Meals On Board)


DAY 2

ZURICH - SCHAFFHAUSEN - BLACK FOREST - LUCERNE

Upon arrival, proceed to Schaffhausen to view Europe’s largest waterfall, the Rhine Falls. Listen to the roar of the mighty Rhine Falls as the glacial waters of the Rhine hurl over the rocks. Continue our journey to the Black Forest in Germany, with a visit to the cuckoo clock workshop where we will watch a demonstration on the assembly of the cuckoo clock. Savour the famous Pork Knuckle and the Black Forest Gateau in its place of origin. Return to Switzerland and arrive in Lucerne, known as one of Europe’s most picturesque resorts at 437 metres above sea level. Take in the splendid view of the lovely Lake Lucerne with Mount Pilatus and the soaring Alps as backdrop. (Meals On Board/Pork Knuckle Lunch/Dinner)


DAY 3

LUCERNE - BERNE - INTERLAKEN

This morning, the highlight of our Lucerne sightseeing is the Lion Monument that is carved from a limestone cliff to commemorate the bravery of the Swiss Guards during the French Revolution. Visit the 14th century covered wooden Chapel Bridge. Then you are at leisure to shop for fine Swiss products like chocolate, music boxes, Swiss knives, and Rolex watches or stroll through the streets of fi ne 15th and 16th century houses. You may like to visit Bucherer, Europe’s number one shop for watches and jewellery, and collect a free souvenir. Move on to Berne, the capital of Swiss Confederation, and a diversified and beautiful town with covered arcades, cobbled streets and decorated facades. First, make a stop at the Bear Pit. Walking through the beautifully preserved old town, you will be able to witness the hourly parade of painted figures at the Clock Tower and take a picture of the ornate, fl ower-adorned fountains. Proceed to Interlaken, a Bernese Oberland resort beautifully situated between two sparkling lakes and beneath the towering Jungfrau. Marvel at the scenic splendours and glories of nature surrounding the town. (Breakfast/Swiss Fondue Dinner)


DAY 4

INTERLAKEN

Today, you are free at leisure to enjoy this spectacular holiday resort situated in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Simply relax and enjoy a scenic feast of snow-capped peaks, or you may like to take an optional tour to the UNESCO World Heritage Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe by a spectacular train ride! (Breakfast)


DAY 5

INTERLAKEN - ZERMATT

After breakfast, drive past vineyards, orchards, medieval cities, and through the towering Alps to the Valais region. Transfer to a rack rail to Zermatt, the famous resort beneath the Matterhorn, one of the most distinctive mountains in the world. Nestled in a beautiful pine-forested valley surrounded by craggy peaks, this Swiss town is car free and served only by carriages and battery taxis. Take a walking tour through the town, passing the Old Village and the main street, while enjoying the pure fresh air. (Note: In the event of bad weather or during ski season, alternative accommodation will be arranged in Valais Region or Lausanne. An overnight bag is recommended for your stay in Zermatt.) DAY 6

ZERMATT - GENEVA - BURGUNDY

Today, continue through the Rhone Valley and make a photo stop at Lord Byron’s Chillon Castle which sits right beside the waters of Lake Geneva. Move on to cosmopolitan Geneva, the cultural centre of French-speaking Swiss. Drive past the United Nations Palace, which is the seat of the European headquarters of the United Nations since 1950s. Continue with our sightseeing of the famous and beautiful Flower Clock, and the Jet d’Eau, a majestic water fountain with waters soaring skywards. You may have time for some shopping in Geneva before we bid goodbye to Switzerland. Cross the French border and spend the night in the famous wine region of Burgundy. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)


DAY 7

BURGUNDY - PARIS

Drive through the Great Plains to the capital of France - Paris. Upon arrival, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Paris, starting with the glorious Arc de Triomphe erected by Napoleon in 1806 as a memorial to his victorious battles. Since 1919, it has become a National Monument to the Unknown Soldiers of France. Situated on a small hill with 12 avenues radiating like rays of lights from a star, the area was aptly named Place de l’Étoile. Drive down the Champs-Élysées, which was laid in the 17th century before arriving at Place de la Concorde, one of the largest squares in France. Ascend to the 2nd level of Eiffel Tower, which has become an enduring symbol of the city of Paris. Continue on as we drive past the Notre Dame Cathedral and Louvre Museum’s famous glass pyramids. This evening, you may like to join an optional tour to the world renowned ‘Moulin Rouge’, a typical French Can-Can Revue with all its fun, colour and excitement! (Breakfast/Lunch)


DAY 8

PARIS

The day is free for you to explore this vibrant city at your leisure. You may like to visit the most renowned Palace of Versailles or fun-filled Disneyland Paris (at your own expense). In the evening, you may enjoy an optional cruise on the romantic River Seine. (Breakfast)


DAY 9

PARIS - LONDON

Travel to London by the high-speed Eurostar train (Note: Travel by flight in the event that Eurostar not operating). On arrival, commence on a tour of London, highlighting Trafalgar Square, No. 10 Downing Street, the Houses of Parliament, the old faithful Big Ben and Westminster Abbey, which is also one of the filming sites of ‘Da Vinci Code’. Continue to Buckingham Palace, which serves as both the office and residence of The Queen, and administrative headquarters of the Royal Household. Today, it is one of the few working royal palaces. (Breakfast/Dim Sum Lunch)


DAY 10

LONDON

Today, you are free at leisure to explore this lively city - consider to visit Madame Tussauds Wax Museum or Tower of London to view its fabulous collections of Crown Jewels or embark on a shopping spree along Oxford Street - the world’s longest shopping street! (Breakfast)


DAY 11

LONDON - SINGAPORE

Bid farewell to England with our departure transfer to the airport for our flight back to Singapore. We hope that you have had an enjoyable time with SA Tours! (Breakfast/Meals On Board)


DAY 12

ARRIVE IN SINGAPORE
