DAY 1

SINGAPORE – MOSCOW

Our vacation starts with a pleasant flight to Moscow, the capital of Russia. (Meals on Board)


DAY 2

MOSCOW

Upon arrival, we begin our tour with a walk into the Red Square, the centre of this 850 year-old city. Continue on to the entrance into the gorgeous St.Basil Cathedral. (Meals on Board/ Lunch/ Dinner)


DAY 3

MOSCOW – NOVGOROD

This morning, drive to Novgorod, situated in the western half of Russia. Our city tour includes Kremlin (a fortifi ed inner city), The Kremlin’s main landmark is St. Sophia’s Cathedral, the city’s earliest and largest cathedral by far, representing the peak of princely power in Novgorod. (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)


DAY 4

NOVGOROD – PUSHKIN TOWN – ST. PETERSBURG

After breakfast, transfer to Pushkin Town, home of Russia’s last Czar for a visit to Catherine Palace. This palace has an ornate blue façade crowned with golden onion domes. Transfer to the former Tsarist capital city, St. Petersburg. St. Petersburg is a city of haunting magnificence, an imperial capital that seems to have been built as a monument to its own passing. Drive along elegant Nevsky Propect, The Senate Square, Bronze Horseman and The Cathedral of the Resurrection. Visit the huge St. Isaac’s Cathedral, faced with marbles and crowned with a giant dome. St Isaac’s Cathedral is one of the greatest achievements in the synthesis of arts during that period. (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)


DAY 5

ST. PETERSBURG

Today’s highlight is the Winter Palace, formerly the residence of the Russian Tsars. Magnificently located on the bank of the Neva River, this Baroque-style palace is perhaps St. Petersburg’s most impressive attraction. Today the Winter Palace, together with four other buildings arranged side by side along the river embankment, houses the extensive collections of the Hermitage. The Hermitage Museum is the largest art gallery in Russia and is among the largest and most respected art museums in the world. Continue on with a visit to the Peter and Paul’s Fortress which was constructed during the reign of Peter the Great. Here, you will find the highest building in St. Petersburg, Peter and Paul’s Cathedral. (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)


DAY 6

ST. PETERSBURG – MOSCOW

This morning, travel towards Petrodvorets with entrance to the magnifi cent Grand Palace with the Grand Cascade in front of it. The Grand Palace was built for Peter the Great, between 1714 – 1725, but was later damaged during the World War II. Today, it is an eminent monument of art and culture, with its interior meticulously restored to its former glory. After which, transfer to the train station for the train service to Moscow. Upon arrival in Moscow, check in to the hotel for your overnight stay. (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner) Note: Entrance to the Grand Palace is subject to opening period and days.


DAY 7

MOSCOW

In the morning, journey to Sergiev Posad. Visit the Trinity-St. Sergius Lavra Monastery, which is famous all over the world for its artistic uniqueness and its distinctive appearance. It contains magnificent relics of different stages in Russian architecture. After which, return to Moscow. This evening, thrilling entertainment awaits at the famous Moscow Circus. (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)


DAY 8

MOSCOW

Highlights of the day are tour in the Kremlin Ground: The Assumption Cathedral, Archangel Cathedral & Ivan the Great Bell Tower, followed by the ornate Moscow Metro, which Stalin called “Palace for the People” with their elegant design and lavish use of marble, mosaics and sculptures. End the day with a walk along the Arbat Street. (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)


DAY 9

MOSCOW – SINGAPORE

Bid farewell to Russia with our departure transfer to the airport for our flight back to Singapore. We hope that you have had an enjoyable time with SA Tours! (Breakfast/ Meals on Board)
