DAY 1
Our vacation starts with a pleasant flight to the financial centre of Germany, Frankfurt. (Meals on Board)
DAY 2
Enjoy a journey to Cologne, one of the busiest and oldest cities in Germany. The main sight is the splendid gothic Cologne Cathedral. Thereafter, continue northbound to Amsterdam, Holland. Upon arrival in Amsterdam, board a glass-domed boat cruise through the canals, gliding gently past some of the city’s 800 bridges, and barges moored along the sides. After dinner, take a stroll through Amsterdam’s well-known red light district. (Meals on Board/Lunch/Dinner)
DAY 3
This morning, our tour of Amsterdam begins with a drive to Dam Square and Royal Palace. Visit the diamond-cutting factory before proceeding to learn about cheese and clogs making. Snap a great shot with the unique traditional windmills as the backdrop! (Breakfast/Dinner)
DAY 4
This morning, proceed to Brussels, the lively and bustling capital of Belgium, the European Economic Community (EEC) and the headquarters of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO). Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Brussels, starting with the site of the 1958 World Fair, and view the Atomium, Chinese Pavilion and Japanese Pagoda. Take a picture with the cheeky Manneken Pis for remembrance before proceeding to the Grand Place, one of the most beautiful and impressive squares in Europe. Afterwards, drive on to the capital of France - Paris. (Breakfast/Dinner)
DAY 5
Embark on our Paris sightseeing, starting with the glorious Arc de Triomphe erected by Napoleon in 1806 as a memorial to his victorious battles. Drive down the Champs-Élysées, which was laid in the 17th century before arriving at Place de la Concorde, one of the largest squares in the world. You will also get the opportunity to view the signature icon of France - Eiffel Tower. Continue with our tour enjoying sights of the Notre Dame Cathedral and Louvre Museum’s famous glass pyramids. In the evening, you may like to join an optional tour to the world renowned “Moulin Rouge” or a typical French Can-Can Revue with all its fun, colour and excitement. Or you may enjoy a romantic cruise on River Seine (under your own expense). (Breakfast/Lunch)
DAY 6
The day is free for you to explore this vibrant city at your leisure. You may consider to visit (under your own expense) the Palace of Versailles, an UNESCO World Heritage Site, or fun-filled Disneyland Paris. (Breakfast)
DAY 7
Start the day with a leisurely drive to Titisee – Black Forest region in Germany. Watch a demonstration on the assembly of a cuckoo clock, and you may like to taste the original Black Forest cake in a cafe nearby (under your own expense). (Breakfast/Dinner)
DAY 8
This morning, travel towards Lucerne, Switzerland, known for one of Europe’s most picturesque resorts 437-metre above sea level. Enjoy the splendid view of the lovely Lake Lucerne with Mount Pilatus and the soaring Alps as backdrop. You may wish to go on a revolving cable car ride to Mt Titlis (under your own expense). (Breakfast/Dinner)
DAY 9
Embark on our sightseeing tour of Lucerne - visit the Lion Monument that is carved from a limestone cliff to commemorate the bravery of the Swiss Guards during the French Revolution. Stop at the 14th Century covered wooden Chapel Bridge, which depicts the local history. You may like to visit Bucherer, Europe’s number one shop for watches and jewellery, to pick up a free souvenir. (Breakfast)
DAY 10
Bid farewell to Switzerland with our departure transfer to the airport for our flight back to Singapore. We hope that you have had an enjoyable time with SA Tours! (Breakfast/Meals on Board)
