Sales Terms and Conditions    


Passengers are deemed to have read, understood & accepted the following conditions, The organizer shall be known as The Company in the conditions below.
Reservations & Deposit
A deposit of S$500 per person is required upon booking. If the tour fare is below S$1,000, a non-refundable deposit of S$300 is required upon booking. Balance payment is to be paid in full minimum 14 days before departure. Failure to comply with this may result in an automatic cancellation of reservation and a forfeiture of deposit.

Credit Card/Charge Card

Payment by credit card or charge card may not be applicable for certain promotional tour packages. Payment by installment plan, where applicable, is valid for selected banks and subjected to banks' approval and terms and conditions. In cases of credit card or charge card payments, refunds (if applicable) will be made through credit card or charge card companies.

Payment & Cancellation Charges

Full payment is required 14 days before departure. Failure to comply with this may result in cancellation of your tour booking and in such an event, the following charge will apply accordingly:

Cancellation Notice Charges (per person)
More than 35 days prior to departure S$300
15 - 34 days prior to departure S$500
8 - 14 days prior to departure 50%
3 - 7 days prior to departure 75%
2 days or less prior to departure 100%

Note: Cancellation of confirmed booking must be made in writing to avoid misunderstanding.

Amendment to Bookings (requested by passengers)

For any changes in the departure date or tour type, cancellation charges apply as spelt out under the section on "Payment & Cancellation Charges".

Amendment to Tour Itinerary

For every request made regardless of whether any previous amendments was confirmed by airlines, hotel or otherwise, there will be a minimum amendment fee of S$100 per person per amendment. This does not include any other charges impose by the airlines, ground operators or hotel. We must receive all requests in writing at least 14 days prior to commencement of tour.

Cancellation of Tour by the Company

Tour members should be aware that The Company is acting as an agent for the service suppliers. After a deposit or full payment is made, all arrangements are still subject to confirmation. If the arrangement cannot be confirmed, The Company will endeavor to notify passenger at least 10 - 14 days before departure; The Company may, if it so chooses, recommend alternative tours preferably to the same destination or other tours to you, based on the tour fare of that cancellation period. Should the passenger decide not to accept the alternatives, all refunds will be paid to him/her within 2 weeks to a month. The Company will not be liable for any further responsibilities.

FIT Booking

Hotel and land arrangements are subjected to confirmation. Any hotel/land rates differential are to be borne by passenger. Promotional tickets are subjected to airline's terms and conditions. Third party land package and cruise packages will be subjected to respective contracting parties' terms and conditions. The above exclude SA Tours' amendment/cancellation charges.

Tour Fare Includes (group tours only)

  • Return economy class group tour air ticket
  • Return airport transfers (airport/hotel/ airport)
  • Hotel accommodation on twin-share basis or triple-share basis
  • When booking triple-share rooms please note that the third bed may be a "roll-away" bed
  • Single room occupancy is at additional cost
  • All meals are as specified in the itinerary, if selected carriers flight time does not allow for certain meals to be taken, there shall not be any refund for meals not consumed
  • Baggage allowance of 20 kilos per passenger

Tour Fare Excludes

  • Visa fees
  • Airport taxes, excess baggage charges
  • Where applicable, Custom User Fees, Nordic Environment Tax, Fuel Tax, Port Tax, Service Fees etc
  • Meals, beverages, room services or any others not listed in itinerary
  • Gratuities to driver , tour guide or tour leader
  • Porters fee at the hotel and airport
  • Flight insurance/Travel insurance

Tour prices are based on current airfares, service prices, government tax and exchange rates, applicable at the time of print and quotation and are subject to change with or without prior notice.

Child Fare

Eligibility: Below 12 years (on the date of departure).
Child fare is based on sharing a room with two adults. There will be an additional cost for child sharing one room with an adult.

Accommodation
In the even the accommodation booked or requested is not available, every effort will be made to scout for an alternative in another accommodation of similar standard.

Special Request

If there are any requests regarding special meals, dietary requirements, adjoining rooms and so on, please inform The Company when booking. Such requests are subject to confirmation and availability.

Travel Documents

It is the passenger's responsibility to ensure that his/her international passport has a validity of at least 7 months prior to the date of departure and have at least 4 blank pages side by side. Relevant visas and vaccinations may be required. Cancellation charges apply for any cancellation due to non-approval of VISAS or any other reasons as stated above. For Singapore permanent residents, please bring along your exit permits when traveling.

For foreign passport holders, it is the passenger's responsibility to hold valid re-entry VISAS.

The Company will, wherever possible, assist you to obtain the necessary visas. Service charges and visa fees will be borne by the passenger. The Company does not guarantee the approval of the visa application. If for any reason, application for VISA(s) or exit permit(s) is rejected, the passenger must make it known to the Company at least 30 days prior to departure with administration charges. If less than 30 days notice is given, the relevant cancellation charges as stated will apply. The Company is not responsible for any expenses, reimbursements or refund of any tour price if passenger is refused entry by any country during the tour for all reasons.

Seat Rotation

For the convenience of all members of the group, passengers are requested to rotate their seating arrangements on the coach during the period of the tour. Please cooperate when called upon to do so by the tour leader/guide.

Travel Insurance

Strongly recommended with respect to such areas as trip cancellation, personal baggage, person accident, injury & illness. Under no circumstances is The Company to be construed as a carrier under contract for safe carriage of passenger or his/her baggage & belongings.

The Company shall not be responsible for any loss or damage as a result of trip cancellation, personal baggage, personal accident, injury and illness.

Our staff will be pleased to assist in the enquiries of any travel insurance.

Extension of Stay / Deviation

Extension of stay/deviation may be permitted at the end of tour, subject to maximum validity and restrictions of air ticket, seat availability and hotel confirmation prior to commencement of tour. All requests must be made before issuance of airtickets. It is the passengers responsibility to hold firm confirmation for their return flight. If the extension of stay/deviation cannot be confirmed three weeks prior to the group's departure date, passenger is deemed to be taking the original tour schedule. In the event that the original arrangement has been changed by the Company during the process, any extra cost will be borne by passenger.

Extension of stay/deviation will be at passengers own expenses & transfer to airport will not be provided.

The air ticket issued is a special ticket, restricted to a specific airline only. It is non-negotiable, non-endorsable, non-reissuable, non-refundable & non- reroutable. Any alteration in routing or dates by passenger is solely at his/her own risk. The Company and its associated agents shall not be held responsible for any inconvenience caused and extra expense incurred. No refund will be made for any unused air ticket, accommodation, meals, or sightseeing in part or full.

Responsiblity

The Company and its associates acts only as an agent for the transportation companies, hotels & other principals for the tour programmes. They will not accept any responsibilities for injuries, damage, accidents, losses, delays, theft, quarantine, customs regulations, strikes, changes in itineraries, deportation or refusal of entry by Immigration Authorities resulting from improper travel documents, possession of unlawful items or irregularities that may be caused to person or property. Any losses & expenses are the responsibility of the passenger. All proper travel documentation is the sole responsibility of the passenger.

The Company reserves the right to alter itineraries, travel arrangements, hotel reservations and to specify the language(s) in which the tour guide will conduct commentary. For Asia sector, Mandarin will be the main language, bi-lingual guides are subjected to early request and confirmation. If it is necessary or in the case of force majeure , The Company reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to date of departure for any reasons, including insufficient number of participants, should this happen, the entire payment shall be refunded without further obligations on the part of The Company. The Company will recommend alternative tour, preferably to the same destination or other destinations. Should passenger decide not to accept the alternatives, all monies paid shall be refunded in full by The Company without further obligations.

The Company also reserves the right to require any withdraw from the tour deemed his/her act of conduct is detrimental to or incompatible with the interest, harmony & welfare of other passengers and the tour as a whole. The Company shall be under no further liability thereafter to any such person. No tour leaders/guides or other employees or agents of The Company are authorized to commit. The Company to any liability whatsoever and The Company will not be bound by any statement or representation unless in writing and signed by a management executive of The Company.

GST

The Company is a GST-registered organisation. GST is chargeable at the standard rate on local supplies of goods and services. However, GST is zero rated on International Services (Overseas) of goods and services.

Complaints / Claims

Any complaint/claim must be made in writing within 2 weeks after services have been rendered. No responsibility is accepted in respect of any complaint/claim which is not so made.
