Your vacation begins with a pleasant flight from Singapore Changi Airport to Taipei. Upon arrival, visit Shilin Night Market for shopping to your hearts content and tasting of delicious Taiwanese snacks. Own transfer back to hotel. (Meals on Board)
Rise and shine with a visit to Yeliu, the most remarkable of all Taiwan's northern scenic areas. The park is formed by a promontory that stretches 1,700 meters into the sea containing a bewildering variety of rock formations. We will proceed towards Chiufen, an actual film site of popular Taiwan movie "Sad City" located up in the hills of northeast Taiwan. You can try some of their famous local dishes such as sweet potato ball and fish balls. In the afternoon, visit Tamsui Street where you can try even more of Taiwan's famous snacks such as "Grandma's Iron Egg". Enjoy the sunset at Fisherman's Wharf, actual film site of popular TV drama series "Metor Garden" where you can find many cafes and restaurants along the wharf. Next, proceed on to I'dee Departmental Store, the first large fashion centre built with local and international brands of fashionable clothing and lifestyle products. End the day at Ximending for a fun time of shopping for latest trends, fashion and tasting of Taiwanese local delight like Ah Zong Mian Sian. (B)
After breakfast, proceed towards Martyr's Shrine and Ling Zhi Specialty Store, followed by a refreshing and relaxing dip in renowned Yang Ming Shan Hot Spring. Next, proceed to Bi-Shei Exhibition Center then to Wu Fen Pu Fashion Street, the largest wholesale garmentarea with more than 1,000 clothing shops selling the latest trendy styles at extremely low prices. After which, we will visit Rou He Night Market for a night of good food and great bargains. (B/L)
After breakfast, take a MTR ride to Dong Qu District where you can shop at SOGO departmental store, Taipei Metro (the Mall), Ming Yao Department Store, etc... After which you will have the whole day free and easy with a day of unlimited access of MTR rides for your usage. (B)
