Assemble at Changi Airport to take a flight to Beijing - the capital of China. Upon arrival, visit the Tiananmen Square, the largest city squares in the world. Next, proceed to the Forbidden City. Within the Forbidden City is the Imperial Palace, which was once home to emperors. It is a remarkable complex of palaces and halls comprising 9,000 rooms. We will proceed to Beihai Park, the former playground of the emperors and is considered one of China’s best examples of classical garden. We will head to the tea hall. The tea specialists will explain China’s tea culture as you enjoy the splendid tea. Next, be fascinated with the famous Acrobatic Show – Mythological Jinsha.
After breakfast, we will proceed to Silk Factory and followed by a visit to the immaculate Summer Palace also known as Yiheyuan. Summer Palace is made up of numerous tranquil lakes and attractive mountains; the palace is the largest and best preserved imperial Chinese garden. After lunch, we are going for sightseeing of Hutong by Trishaw. Hutong is known as the alley that reflects the daily life of common people in Beijing. It’s the best way to know more about the different cultures, history and lifestyle of old Beijing. We will solely arrange to learn the Folk Paper Cutting of ancient Beijing (paper cutting for happiness and luck). Next, we will visit Tong Ren Tang, a famous pharmacy of Beijing with 300 years of history. Then, we will proceed to visit the splendid Prince Gong’s Residence.
Today, we are going to visit the biggest Jade Museum in China. We will tour and see the Great Wall of China - the magnificent Great Wall, stretching over 6,000km of mountain terrain, is the only visible man-made structure from the moon. Great wall is one of the seven miracles of the world, it is certainly every visitor’s challenge to climb the Great wall. Proceed to Chang Ling, which is one of the 13 Ming Tombs of Ming Dynasty. Chang Ling is the largest of the 13 Ming Tombs. It is the tomb of the third emperor of the Ming Dynasty, Yongle. After dinner, go for sightseeing and shopping at the NO. 1 pedestrian’s business street - Wang Fu Jing, there are all sorts of products for you to see or buy. You also can enjoy Foot Massage after sightseeing.
In the morning, we will proceed to the Temple of Heaven, a Chinese palatial structure, which was constructed during the Ming and Qing dynasties. It served as an exclusive altar for Chinese monarchs. Next, visit the marvelous landmark of Beijing 2008 Olympics, the Birds Nest Stadium (exterior) and Water Cube Swimming Hall (exterior). Then, follow us to China Center Television Tower, a 4A national scenic spot. Standing at 223m in height, it provides panoramic views of Beijing. Next, we will proceed to Shop of Pearl.
In the morning, you are free at leisure until you transfer to the airport for your flight to Xi’An. Upon arrival, we will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The famous monk in the Tang Dynasty, master Xuan Zang, is the first abbot of this temple. Then, proceed to visit Bell & Drum Tower Square & Ancient Street.
Marvel the world famous Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s Terra Cotta Warriors. The incredible collection of more than 1000 life-size clay figurines, discovered in a number of burial pits, is one of China’s greatest archeological discoveries in recent years. A movie about Terra-Cotta Warriors is also available for viewing. Proceed to the Terra Cotta Warriors Preproduction Plant. Next, visit Huaqing Hot Spring, which was an exclusive spa venue for Yang Guifei, one of the four most beautiful women in history.
A morning visit the world-famous Famen Tower, 120 kilometers away from Xi'an, built in the Eastern Han Dynasty. Famen Tower, also known as "Mami Pagoda”, enjoys a reputation of being the ‘forefather of temples” in Central Shaanxi because it holds the finger bones of Sakyamuni -- the founder of Buddhism. Proceed to the Qianling, it is where you will find the joint tomb of the third emperor of Tang Dynasty, Gaozong and his empress, Wu Zetain. This majestic place is large and holds the Tand Dynasty exquisite sculptures.
Today, you are free at leisure until your transfer to the airport for your flight back to Singapore.
